Features
Sturdy Brush-ED motor (brushes will last at least 8,000 hours before they need to be replaced - 3 + years even with heavy use.). Simpler electronics than the brushless sytem. This motor will start from 0 mph without pedaling. When run at 36 volts it is also stronger than the Brushless motor: more low-end torque and faster top-end speed. However, it's range is less than that of the Brushless system.

Do you have any information on how to adjust the brushes on the wilderness energy bd 36 motor, I have been unable to get any information, the dealer is totally clueless about this I called them and they didnt know, they just said order new brushes. I think mine had incorrect springs. one spring is shorter thatn the other which made the one brush wear out fast.
I only got about 500 miles out of my brushed used the bike all last summer and it has been put away all winter.
